understand it can be daunting if you've never been to Church before - or if
it's been a while. To make it
easier, this page gives you some idea of what to expect and what a Church
Service is really like.
Where's the Church?
The Church is in Royal Center, IN and is located at the corner of US 35 and South Street. The Family Life Center is located at the corner US 35 and Center Street.
What Happens When I Get There?
When you come into the Church building, someone will greet you at the door and offer you a copy of the weekly bulletin and give you a warm welcome!
normally start at 8:45AM in the Church Sanctuary on Sundays and 11:00AM in the Family Life
Center on Sundays. Most services last about an hour to an hour and a quarter or a
little longer if communion is involved.
The service will normally consist of singing, Bible reading(s), some prayers and an easy to listen to sermon. If you need to leave during a service, no-one will complain if you slip out discreetly.
If you'd like to know what the sermons are like, you can listen to previous sermons online before you come!
Please sit where you like.
Is There Anything for my Children?
If you have children they can sit with you. During most 8:45 AM Sunday morning services the children kindergarten and younger can leave for nursery. During most 11:00 AM Sunday morning services the children kindergarten and younger can leave for nursery and those up to 6th grade can leave for children's church.
Will I be asked to give money?
There will be a collection, but don't feel embarrassed to pass the collection plates on without putting anything in it.
What's being a Christian all about?
God wants you to have the best, but there's a problem - sin! Christians believe that God made a solution to the problem, His son Jesus (also known as 'the Christ').
We hope this helps to explain what this Church is like. Please do come along, we'd love to see you! If you are still nervous after reading this, please contact us and we will arrange for someone to meet you and show you around.
